Success Skills Centre congratulates the initiators and staff of the Manitoba Nominees Program on the program’s 20th anniversary. Back in 1998, there were three prime Winnipeg employment assistance agencies – the Immigrant Centre, Employment Projects of Winnipeg, and Success Skills Centre, helping newcomers settle and find jobs. We are proud of the important role we were asked to play in the 12 years prior leading to the start of Manitoba Start in 2010 by the Government of Manitoba, as well as the years from 1985 to today, in helping thousands of immigrant professionals and highly skilled workers find their rightful place in the Canadian labour market.
